House rules
These hold on every plabs server. Individual servers can add to them — what a server adds is on its own card below.
The short version
- Don't wreck other people's things. No griefing, no taking what isn't yours, no burning down someone's build because it is funny. If you did not make it and were not given it, leave it.
- No cheating. No x-ray, no fly or reach hacks, no duping. Optimisation and map mods are fine; anything that shows you what you should not see, or does the playing for you, is not.
- Be decent in chat. Disagreeing is fine. Slurs, harassment and pile-ons are not, and neither is following someone around after they have asked you to stop.
- Leave room for others. Don't build right up against someone's base without asking, and don't claim more of the map than you are actually using.
- PvP only if both want it. Where PvP is switched on, that is for agreed fights — not for killing someone who is mining or carrying their day's work home.
- Say something if it breaks. A bug you keep to yourself is a bug nobody fixes. Anything that looks like a duplication exploit, report it rather than repeat it.
What happens if you don't
A word first, then a kick, then a ban if it keeps happening. Griefing and cheating skip straight to the end. Whoever runs the server makes that call.
Per-server
The main server — mc.plabs.cloud
House rules, and nothing on top of them yet.
Survival, PvP on, no whitelist. Run by its own owner, who has the final say here.
Tango — tango.mc.plabs.cloud
A test server, so two extra things:
Expect bugs, expect the world to be reset when a build needs it — don't put a month
into a castle you would be upset to lose. And when something misbehaves, use
/copperstead bug <what happened> in game: it goes straight to the people
fixing it, which is the whole point of the server.
